Details & Highlights

Hahoe Traditional Village still preserves their own tradition from Joseon Dynasty.  Visitors can see about 300 to 500 years old houses. Villagers have lived there to keep Confucius tradition over generations. Hahoe village is sitting on the beautiful nature by mountains, rocky cliffs and river.

Hahoe Mask Dance is 800 years long history that is designated as UNESCO Intangible Heritage. Visitors can enjoy its performance from the village theater. Annually, Hahoe Mask dance Festival is held international event based on Masks and Mask Culture, getting international attention. When you are in season it can be another choice to experience this festival

After Hahoe Village, we head to Byeongsan Seowon, Confucian Academy with amazing view. Its time’s philosophy and its educational buildings are interesting to meet.

Lastly, as visit Bongjeongsa Temple, one of the oldest wooden architectures. Its monastery is in the middle of mountains. We can touch the natural textures of traditional buildings. Peaceful moments bring us something different experience in Korea.
